Abid Ullah Jan expalins the concept of the trial and patience and why there is far greater reward than 72 houris in paradise.

He explains how living these days in the way of Allah is more difficult than dying for Allah and hence the highest rewards.

This proves that those who believe and have a basic understanding of Islam cannot commit suicide and also kill innocent people – killing innocents and taking your life doesn’t make you a martyr. It doesn’t work this way.  Martyrdom and suicide are on the opposite end of the spectrum of death. Using wrong means even for a noble cause nullifies the reward.  The end doesn’t justify the means. Hence there is no place for suicide or terrorism in Islam to begin with.
